Privacy policy

customcommercials.ai is a product of Digital Shyft LLC ("DigitalShyft", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use customcommercials.ai, its website and its API, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. What we collect

Your account. Your name, email address, a securely hashed password (or your single sign-on identity), your company name and website, your role on a team, and your sign-in history (when, and from which IP address).

What you create. The briefs you write, the storyboards made from them, the product photos, clips, logos, colors and music you upload to your media library, recordings of your own voice, and what we make from them: scripts, preview stills, generated clips, presenter videos, voice tracks, dubbed versions and finished commercials. Also your comments and approvals on review links.

Screen recordings. If you upload a screen recording as product media (for example, to show your app's real screens), we receive the file. It shows whatever was on your screen, including text you typed, so check it for anything private before you upload it.

Voice cloning. If you clone a voice, we receive the voice samples you record or upload, and a record of your consent. We send them to our voice provider to create the voice.

Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. We keep your purchases, your commercial time and credit balances, any plan you are on and your purchase history, but never your full card number.

Usage and devices. Pages you visit on our site and in the app, the actions you take, your browser and device type, and IP address, used for security, support and improving the product. See Analytics below.

Information about your viewers

When you share a commercial, a review link or a white-label share page, the people who view it may send us information: anonymous viewing statistics (we store only a scrambled visitor ID), comments and approvals, and any contact details a form on a page you share asks for. We process this information on your behalf and under your instructions. You decide what to collect and are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it. Viewers who want to access or delete their information should contact the business that shared the link; we will help that business respond.

How we use it

• To provide customcommercials.ai: turning your brief into a storyboard and a finished commercial, hosting and sharing it, and running the features you use.
• To keep accounts secure, prevent abuse and fraud, and enforce usage limits.
• To bill you and keep financial records.
• To send account and service emails (sign-up confirmation, password resets, invitations, review notifications) and, if you agree, product updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.
• To provide support and improve the product.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to train AI models.

AI processing

To write the storyboard and its lines, generate stills, clips and presenters, voice and dub them, and answer questions in the built-in helper, we send the relevant parts of your brief and media (such as product photos, descriptions and scripts) to AI providers, who process it only to give us the result. Under their commercial terms, they do not use it to train their models.

Who we share it with

We use these service providers to run customcommercials.ai. They process information only for us:

• Railway: hosting and storage (United States).
• Anthropic: AI that writes the storyboard and its lines, and powers the helper.
• ElevenLabs: voices, voice cloning and dubbing.
• fal.ai: generated stills and video clips (FLUX, Kling and Veo models).
• HeyGen: AI presenters.
• Stripe: payments.
• Resend: sending email.
• Google: Google Analytics on our own pages, and YouTube when you connect it.
• Microsoft: Microsoft Clarity on our own pages.

When you connect another service (such as YouTube or a webhook), we send it the content you choose to publish, at your direction. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our users or our rights, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to apply.

Google and YouTube data

If you connect your YouTube channel, we ask Google for your permission to use these scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload: to upload the commercials you choose to publish to your channel. This scope cannot read, edit or delete anything already on your channel.
• openid and email: to show which Google account is connected on your Integrations page.

We use this access only for those purposes. We store the tokens Google gives us (including a refresh token so uploads keep working), encrypted with AES-256-GCM. We do not sell data we receive from Google, use it for advertising, or transfer it to anyone except as needed to provide the upload you asked for, to comply with the law, or with your consent. No person at DigitalShyft reads it except where needed for security, to comply with the law, or with your permission when you ask us for support. We do not use data we receive from Google, including YouTube data, to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models.

You can disconnect YouTube at any time on the Integrations page in customcommercials.ai, which deletes the stored token, or revoke our access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

customcommercials.ai's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Questions about our use of Google data: support@customcommercials.ai.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

We use cookies that are needed to sign you in and keep your session secure. On our own pages (not the pages our customers share with their viewers) we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people find and use customcommercials.ai, and we may use Google Ads. Clarity records how a page is used, such as clicks and scrolling; see Microsoft's privacy statement. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode unless you consent. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your Google ad settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information and content for as long as your account is open. When you delete a commercial, its files are deleted. Voice clones and their samples are kept until you delete them. When you close your account, we delete your content within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons, or to resolve disputes.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, sign-in sessions and share links use random tokens of which we keep only a hash, and connection tokens for third-party services are encrypted. Teams can require two-factor sign-in and single sign-on. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you as required by law.

Your rights and choices

You can see and change most of your information in the app, download your commercials, and delete them. To close your account, email us. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete or move your information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email support@customcommercials.ai. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and store data there. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Children

customcommercials.ai is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
