Short answer

Pick Icon if you want UGC-style ads, the kind that look like a happy customer filmed them on their phone, made by real people who hold and use your product, and you can wait for the product to ship to them. Pick customcommercials.ai if you want a finished AI commercial made from a brief, with a storyboard (a shot-by-shot plan with a picture for most shots) you approve first, one price per ad set by its length, and nothing to ship. If you are looking for an Icon alternative with no monthly fee and no product shipping, that is us; if you need a real person on camera with your product in hand, Icon is the better buy.

What Icon is, and what Icon costs

Icon (icon.com) is a done-for-you service for human UGC ads. Icon ads are filmed and edited by real creators from its pool, a human creative director runs the work, and its Admaker software sits behind it. Those facts come from Icon's own pricing page on November 4, 2026. Its Agency plan is $1,000 a month after a three-day trial, for six ads from two creators, so about $167 an ad.† You review six scripts before you are charged, revisions are unlimited, and the ads arrive 12 to 16 days after the creators get your product. Icon says you own the final ads, the raw footage and the B-roll. It also sells a dedicated creative director and a white-label API for agencies, priced by quote.

What we are

customcommercials.ai is an AI commercial studio. You write a brief. We write the storyboard and show a preview still (one picture of what each shot will look like) for most shots, free. You change any line, approve, and pay once for the finished length. Then we make every shot: AI spokespeople (realistic presenters who say your lines on camera), cinematic B-roll (the footage that plays while someone talks), a voice and music, delivered in wide 16:9, vertical 9:16 and square 1:1. Reshoots (making a shot again with new words or a new description) are included up to an allowance shown on the commercial's page, and edits and re-renders afterward are free. Our pricing page has the rate, UGC-style ads shows how we make the creator look, and what a commercial costs compares every option with sources.

Questions

How much does Icon cost?

Icon's pricing page, read on November 4, 2026, lists its Agency plan at $1,000 a month after a three-day trial, for six human-made UGC ads from two creators, which works out to about $167 an ad. A dedicated creative director and the white-label API are priced by quote.

Does Icon use AI?

Icon says the ads on its Agency plan are filmed by real people with no AI ("100% real", in its words), with its Admaker software behind the service. We are the other way around: the people, the footage and the voice are made by AI models, from a storyboard you approve.

Can you make ads that look like Icon's?

We can make UGC-style ads: one AI presenter talking to camera, lines written the way people talk, and handheld-looking B-roll. The presenter is an AI, not a customer, and does not hold your physical product today. If a real person with your product in hand matters most, Icon fits better.

Do I need a subscription with you?

No. Commercials are bought one at a time, separate from any plan or credit pack. You need an account with a confirmed email. The storyboard is free; you pay once when you approve it.
