Short
0:15 to 0:45A vertical video that shows one thing fast, with a short "Link in bio" at the end.
- Hook 0–2 s
- Payoff, a new shot every 2 to 3 seconds 2–27 s
- Soft call to action 27–30 s
A short is a vertical video that shows one thing fast: a hook in the first two seconds that makes someone stop scrolling, a new shot every two to three seconds, and a small ask instead of a long end card, the last screen with your web address. customcommercials.ai, an AI commercial studio, plans every shot in a free storyboard, a shot-by-shot plan you approve before you pay. It is an AI shorts maker that does the work for you, for posts and for YouTube Shorts ads alike.

Short
0:15 to 0:45A vertical video that shows one thing fast, with a short "Link in bio" at the end.
A paid ad has to sell in one view. A short has to be watched to the end, so it moves faster and asks for less.
The hook is the first two seconds, the moment that makes someone stop scrolling. In a short it is a bold claim or a question, said and shown big.
Each shot answers part of the hook. Fast cuts keep the thumb still. B-roll, the footage that plays while someone talks, carries most of it.
Most shorts play muted, so the key words appear as big titles you can see and edit in the storyboard.
The last three seconds say something like "Link in bio" or "Try it free" over the picture. A long end card, the last screen with your web address, hurts how many people watch to the end, so a short keeps it small.
Say the one thing the short proves or shows, who it is for, and the small ask at the end. Add a photo or clip of your product.
The storyboard is a shot-by-shot plan with a preview still, one picture of the shot, for most shots, so you see the pace and the on-screen words before you pay.
An AI voice, a music bed under it, and the shots cut to the length the storyboard sets. Reshoot any shot with new words or a new description.
Shorts run 15 to 45 seconds. We suggest 30 or 60 seconds here, and a short is sold from 15 seconds to 45 seconds. Every short is delivered in vertical 9:16, and in 16:9 and 1:1 as well, from one approval.
The times are the storyboard's. The finished file also opens on a short title card with your title and logo, and closes on a card where the voice says your call to action, what you ask people to do next. Those cards are not billed.
A spokesperson, a realistic AI presenter who says your lines on camera, works well in a short because the format is built around someone talking. Or use a voice-over only: an AI voice from the library, cleared for commercial use, or on a paid plan your own cloned voice with your recorded consent. A music bed sits under the voice. The words that matter appear as titles planned in the storyboard, so the short reads with the sound off.
Shorts are a set price for each format and finished length, shown on the storyboard before you pay. The storyboard is free.

A vertical 9:16 video of 15 to 45 seconds for YouTube Shorts, Reels or TikTok. It shows one thing fast: a hook in the first two seconds, a new shot every two to three seconds, and a small ask at the end instead of a long end card.
Long enough to pay off the hook and no longer. We suggest 30 or 60 seconds here; for 15, trim the shots in the storyboard before you approve. A short is billed for at least 15 seconds.
Every commercial is delivered in 9:16 as well as 16:9 and 1:1. To change a shot after it is made, reshoot it (included up to the allowance on its page, then priced in credits before it runs); trims, retitles and music changes in the editor re-render free within the included limits.
