Video ads

AI video ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube, made for you

A video ad is a short commercial built for a feed, with a hook in the first two seconds that makes someone stop scrolling. customcommercials.ai, an AI commercial studio, plans it in a free storyboard, a shot-by-shot plan you see before you pay. You get it in 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9.

Feeds

Ads that work with the sound off and the thumb moving

Many people scroll a feed with the sound off, and they decide in a moment whether to stay. So a social ad does three things fast: it opens with a hook, it puts your product on screen in the first five seconds, and it says its most important words as titles on screen, not only in the voice. The storyboard plans each on-screen title shot by shot, so you see where every word sits before anything is made.

How it's built

How a social ad is built, beat by beat

Most good social ads follow five beats. Each one is a shot or two. The storyboard shows you all of them with a preview still, one picture of what the shot will look like, before you pay.

The hook

The first two seconds, the moment that makes someone stop scrolling: a problem moment, a surprising picture or a bold question, with big words on screen.

The problem

Two to four seconds of the thing your customer is stuck with. Someone frustrated, something slow, something that costs too much.

The product reveal

Your product, big and close, with its name on screen. Your own photo or clip is the one shot that always looks right, so it goes here.

The benefit

Two quick shots of the product working and the result. One short line on screen says what changed.

The offer and the call to action

The call to action is what you ask people to do: buy, try it free, visit. It sits on the end card, the last screen with your web address, often beside an offer such as a discount.

Formats

Two kinds of social ad to ask for in the brief

A 15-second social ad and a UGC-style ad (one that looks like a happy customer filmed it on their phone). The bars show each one's beats to scale.

The times are the storyboard's. The finished file also opens on a short title card with your title and logo, and closes on a card where the voice says your call to action, what you ask people to do next. Those cards are not billed.

  • The product or brand shows up in the first 5 seconds.
  • The product appears at least twice: once early and once big, just before the end card.
  • One camera move per shot.
  • The last 2 to 4 seconds are the end card, the last screen with your name and what to do next.
  • People speak about 2.5 words a second, so a 30-second ad holds about 70 words with room to breathe.
Shapes

Three shapes from one storyboard

Every ad is delivered in vertical 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, square 1:1 for feeds, and wide 16:9 for YouTube and your website. One approval, three files, no watermark.

Need a vertical short instead?

Where each shape runs

  • Vertical 9:16: TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Stories
  • Square 1:1: Instagram and Facebook feeds, LinkedIn
  • Wide 16:9: YouTube, your website, streaming and TV
On camera

AI spokespeople, or no people at all

A spokesperson is a realistic AI presenter who says your lines on camera, in a voice you choose. Pick up to 2 per ad from the presenter library. Want it to look like a customer talking to their phone? Ask for a UGC-style ad in the brief: one presenter, lines written the way people talk, and handheld-looking B-roll (the footage between the talking). The honest limit: the presenter speaks your lines; it does not hold your physical product. Your product photo gets its own shot instead. The UGC-style ads page shows how one is built.

Or skip people altogether. A product shot, a voice-over and music make a clean ad for a physical product or an app.

Changes

Change it after you see it

Edits and re-renders are free, within the AI writing, voice and render time included with each commercial (shown on its page). A reshoot makes one shot again with new words or a new description, and reshoots are included up to an allowance shown on the commercial's page. For a different hook or offer, start one commercial per version.

Pricing

What it costs

Video ads are a set price for each format and finished length, shown on the storyboard before you pay. The storyboard is free.

Compared with ad generators

Creatify and Arcads are tools you drive yourself: you write, generate, pick the takes and edit, and you pay a monthly subscription for credits. We make the ad for you from a storyboard you approve, and we show the price in dollars before anything renders. Questions

What is an AI video ad generator?

A tool that turns a script or a web page into a short ad with AI presenters and clips. Most are tools you drive yourself and pay for with monthly credits. We are the done-for-you kind: you write a brief, approve a storyboard, and get the finished ad in three shapes for one price.

How long should a video ad be?

Most social ads run 6 to 15 seconds; a commercial for YouTube or TV usually runs 30. Ask for the length in the brief and the storyboard plans it; for a shorter cut, remove or shorten shots in the storyboard before you approve. Each format is billed for at least its base length, from 6 seconds.

Can I get the same ad in vertical and square?

Yes. Every commercial is delivered in vertical 9:16, square 1:1 and wide 16:9 from one approval, with no watermark.

Can I make several versions of one ad?

Yes. Trim, retitle or change the music in the editor and re-render; edits and re-renders are free within the limits included with each commercial. To change a shot, reshoot it; about 1 reshoot per shot is included. For a different hook or offer, start one commercial per version.

Do I need a subscription?

No. Commercials are bought one at a time, separate from any plan or credit pack. You need an account with a confirmed email. The storyboard is free and you pay once, when you approve it.

Can I upload the ad to YouTube from here?

Yes, on a plan that includes integrations: connect your YouTube channel in the app (we ask only for the upload permission) and publish from the editor (Open in the editor on the commercial's page). On any account you can download every shape and upload it anywhere yourself.
