Short answer

Pick Arcads if you want UGC-style ads, the kind that look like a happy customer filmed them on their phone, made from an AI actor library on a subscription, and you will write the scripts yourself. Pick customcommercials.ai if you want a finished commercial made for you from a brief, with a storyboard (a shot-by-shot plan with a picture for most shots) you approve first, and a set price for the format and length instead of a plan. We can make creator-style ads too; we also make the cinematic kind. If you are looking for an Arcads alternative that makes a finished commercial for you, that is us; if you want UGC-style ads you script yourself, Arcads is the better buy.

What Arcads is, and what Arcads pricing looks like

Arcads (arcads.ai) is a self-serve tool for AI actor ads. You write a script, pick an actor from its library, and it generates a talking video; its actors can hold a product, it offers batch variants for testing, and it translates into other languages. Those facts come from Arcads' own site on November 4, 2026. Arcads does not publish a price list. Third-party reviews report a Starter plan at about $110 a month for 8,000 credits and a Creator plan at twice that, with a talking actor costing 800 credits per billed minute per actor, so roughly $11 to $12 of credits per one-actor ad.† Captions cost extra credits.† There is a free trial.

What we are

customcommercials.ai is a studio, not a tool. You write a brief. We write the storyboard and show a preview still (one picture of what each shot will look like) for most shots, free. You change any line, approve, and pay once for the finished length. Then we make every shot: AI spokespeople (realistic presenters who say your lines on camera), cinematic B-roll (the footage that plays while someone talks), a voice and music, delivered in wide 16:9, vertical 9:16 and square 1:1. Reshoots (making a shot again with new words or a new description) are included up to an allowance shown on the commercial's page, and edits and re-renders afterward are free. Our pricing page has the rate, what a commercial costs compares every option with sources, and AI commercials shows how one is made.

Questions

What does Arcads cost?

Arcads does not publish a price list. Third-party reviews read on November 4, 2026 report a Starter plan at about $110 a month and a Creator plan at twice that, with credits spent per actor per billed minute.† Treat those as reported, not confirmed. Here the price of each format and length is on the pricing page and on your storyboard.

Does Arcads make full commercials?

Arcads makes AI actor videos in the creator style: one or more actors talking to camera, with the product in hand. It is built for performance ads in a feed. It does not plan a storyboard, shoot cinematic B-roll or render an end card for you.

Can you make creator-style ads too?

Yes. Pick a spokesperson who talks to camera, write the lines the way people talk, and ask in the brief notes for phone-shot, handheld B-roll. The storyboard shows the plan before you pay. One honest limit: our presenter does not hold your physical product today; your product appears as its own shot from your photo or clip.

Which is better for TikTok ads?

For a dozen testimonial variants a week, a tool like Arcads fits the volume. For a vertical ad that looks like a commercial, with a hook (the first two seconds that make someone stop scrolling), a product shot and an end card, we fit. Every commercial here is delivered in vertical 9:16 as well as wide and square.

Do I need a subscription with you?

No. Commercials are bought one at a time, separate from any plan or credit pack. You need an account with a confirmed email. The storyboard is free; you pay once when you approve it.
