Ad Clone

Make your ad the way a great ad is built

Great ads follow a shape: a hook in the first seconds, a few quick shots, the product revealed, a clear ask. Upload an ad whose shape you like and we write a storyboard for your own product the same way, with new shots and new words.

Free storyboard first, then from $29 for 6 seconds or $99 for a 30-second commercial. You pay only when you approve it.

How it works

From an ad you like to your own storyboard

The storyboard is free. Nothing that costs money is made until you approve it.

  1. Upload an ad you admire

A video from 3 seconds to 2 minutes, up to 150 MB. Tick that you may use it as a reference.

  2. Say what you sell

A line about your product and who it is for, a call to action and your web address if you have them. Choose vertical or every shape.

  3. We read how it is built

We find its shots, how long each runs and what job each does. The video is deleted once it has been read.

  4. Read your storyboard, free

A storyboard for your product with the same number of shots, the same order of jobs and the same rhythm, in new shots and words. Edit anything, then approve it.

What is read

Structure, not content

Only how the ad is built is kept.

What we read

  • How many shots, and how long each runs
  • The job each shot does, in order
  • How the hook works in the first seconds
  • The camera: close up, wide, handheld, slow push
  • Whether words are spoken or shown, and what kind (a question, an offer, a call to action)

What we never keep or copy

  • The video: it is deleted after it has been read
  • The pictures: frames are never stored
  • The brand, logos, prices, slogans and on-screen text
  • The people, places and visuals
  • Your commercial is made from new shots, new words and new people
The jobs a shot does

The beats it follows

Each shot of the ad is given one of these jobs. Your storyboard keeps the same order.

Hook

The first seconds, built to stop the scroll.

Problem

The pain the viewer already feels, made a little worse.

Meet the product

The product arrives, with its name and one promise.

Why it's better

Why it beats what people do today.

How it works

It working, shown not told.

Proof

A reason to believe it.

Call to action

What to do next, said once and clearly.

Fair use

Use ads you may learn from

Upload an ad you made, one a client gave you, or one you have the right to use as a reference. You confirm that when you upload it. Ad Clone takes a video file, not a link, so you are always in control of what is uploaded.

Pricing

What it costs

The commercial made from it is priced like any other: from $29 for 6 seconds to $249 for 1 minute 30 seconds, set by the format and the finished length. The storyboard is free.

Reading the ad counts as one of the free storyboard writes. See pricing, or start from one product photo instead.

Start with the free storyboard

Write a short brief. See the plan, with a preview still (one picture of the shot) for most shots, and the exact price before you pay anything.

Free storyboard first, then from $29 for 6 seconds or $99 for a 30-second commercial. You pay only when you approve it.

Questions

What does Ad Clone do?

You upload an ad whose shape you like. We find its shots, how long each runs and the job each does, then write a storyboard for your own product with the same number of shots, order of jobs and rhythm, in new shots and words.

Does it copy the ad?

No. Only the structure is read. The video is deleted once it has been read, frames are never stored, and the storyboard is told never to copy the ad's brand, words, people, places or pictures.

What can I upload?

A video file of 3 seconds to 2 minutes, up to 150 MB, that you made or may use as a reference; you confirm that when you upload. Ad Clone takes a file, not a link.

Is it free?

The storyboard is free, like any storyboard here, and nothing that costs money is made until you approve it. The commercial made from it is priced like any other, and the price for its finished length is shown before you pay.
